BOULDER, Colo. (July 15, 2026) – Bob Chew, Independent candidate for the U.S. Senate in Colorado, announced today his campaign raised $1.27 million in the second quarter of 2026 and currently has over $1.04 million cash on hand, demonstrating early strength and momentum in the race.
The total includes $1.1 million that Chew contributed to his own campaign, a major personal investment that reflects how serious he is about this endeavor and his commitment to offering Coloradans an independent alternative to politics as usual.
“I’m putting my own resources behind this campaign because I believe Colorado deserves a senator who is accountable to the people, not party bosses or special interests,” said Chew. “This campaign is about real courage and real solutions — tackling the hard problems Washington keeps avoiding and giving voters a serious independent choice.”
Chew has been nominated for the Colorado general election ballot by the Forward Party. His Q2 donors include former New Jersey Republican Governor Christine Todd Whitman and 2020 Democratic candidate for President Andrew Yang, both current co-chairs of the Forward Party. A Navy veteran, engineer, and businessman, Chew has emphasized fiscal responsibility, functional government, and problem-solving over partisan gridlock.
With more than $1 million cash on hand, the campaign enters the next phase with the resources to communicate Chew’s message to voters across Colorado and build a broad coalition of Coloradans ready for change.
