Military Veterans Organization Endorses Bob Chew for U.S. Senate

BOULDER, Colo. (August 21, 2026) – Independent Veterans of America yesterday announced its endorsement of Bob Chew, a U.S. Navy veteran and Forward Party nominee for U.S. Senate in Colorado. The endorsement recognizes Chew’s service, his commitment to putting country over party, and his campaign’s focus on offering Colorado voters a solutions-first alternative to the two-party status quo.
“Bob Chew took an oath as a Navy Ensign to support and defend the Constitution,” said IVA President and Founder Paul Rieckhoff. “He still lives by that oath every day and he can’t watch anymore while the national debt balloons, Social Security and Medicare inch toward insolvency, and international threats grow — all because these problems are too hard for career politicians to touch. Neither of his opponents is a veteran. Bob is. And he’s ready to serve again.”
Chew, a former Naval submarine officer and longtime business leader, is running on a message of “real courage for real solutions.” His campaign emphasizes fiscal responsibility, protecting Social Security and Medicare for future generations, strengthening national security, and restoring a working Senate that can solve problems through compromise and accountability.
